Residential Water Service

  • Service Charge

    2.0” or larger meter ................. $22.00

    Usage Charge
    First 3,000 gallons ................... $3.00 per 1,000 gallons
    All Additional .......................... $4.65 per 1,000 gallons
General Water Service rates are applicable to commercial, industrial, public institutions, and all other classes of water use other than for strictly residential purposes only. All residences used for business, professional, or commercial purposes shall also be considered as General customers. Services shall be delivered through a single meter at one point of delivery, acceptable to the Authority.

Special Temporary Water Service rates apply to construction needs and other temporary use, as determined by the Authority.
  • Usage Charge of $5.75 per 1,000 gallons.

SENIOR CITIZEN DISCOUNT
A ten percent (10%) utility discount rate shall be granted to eligible residential customers who are sixty (60) years or older and have a total household income of twenty-one thousand dollars ($21,000) or less per year. The residence is the primary residence of the customer/spouse and is a single metered family dwelling unit.

Each customer must provide reasonable proof that they meet the criteria required. Copies of one of the following is required to verify income: A latest Income Tax Return, Social Security Payment Notice, Retirement Annuity or Pension. To verify age: Driver’s license, Identification Card, Certificate of Indian Blood or Birth Certificate.

The discount provided by this rule is temporary and shall be reviewed every februrary of each year. The Authority reserves the right to teminate the discount or make such revisions or modifications at any time.
