Navajo Tribal Utility Authority®

2022 Consumer Confidence Report:

It's about Your Water

The Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) maintains and operates 92 water systems throughout the Navajo Nation. These water systems are tested to assure our customers that the water provided by NTUA meets the Safe Drinking Water standards of Navajo Nation Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The federal mandate requires public water suppliers that serve the same people year round (community water systems) to provide Consumer Confidence Reports (CCRs) to their customers, which include publishing annual reports for each water system. These reports are also known as annual water quality reports or drinking water quality reports. The CCRs summarize information regarding sources used (i.e., rivers, lakes, reservoirs, or aquifers) any detected contaminants, compliance and educational information. The reports are due to customers in July.
