RESIDENTIAL GAS SERVICE

 

Availability

Available to residential customers located in Navajo Country where distribution facilities of adequate capacity and suitable pressure are adjacent to the premises to be served.

 

Applicability

Applicable to all natural gas service required for residential purposes or uses in individual private homes or in individually metered apartments where such service is supplied through one point of delivery and measured through one meter.  Not applicable to temporary, standby, supplementary, or resale service.

 

Character of Service

Natural gas service with a heating value as set forth in the rules and regulations of the Authority at a standard pressure of at least four (4) ounces per square inch gauge at the outlet of the Authority's meter on the customer's premises.  Service under this schedule shall be firm under priorities as set forth in the rules and regulations.

 

Net Monthly Rate

The monthly billing shall be the sum of the service charge and the usage charge set forth below:

 

 Service Charge ...............................  $7.25

 

 Usage Charge

  All Therms .........................................  $0.4688 per Therm

 

Purchased Gas Cost

The PGC reflects NTUA’s actual cost of purchasing and transporting natural gas to its distribution system.  These costs are calculated on a monthly basis and passed through to customers based on their individual metered usage.  The effective PGC rate ($ / therm) may vary from month to month as the purchase cost of natural gas, and its transportation costs, net of the amount assigned directly to the power plant protection fuel service, vary based on market and contractual conditions.

Service under this rate schedule is subject to the Authority's rules and regulations for natural gas service.

 

 

COMMERCIAL/INDUSTRIAL GAS SERVICE

 

Availability

Available to commercial customers located in Navajo Country where distribution facilities of adequate capacity and suitable pressure are adjacent to the premises to be served.

 

Applicability

Applicable for commercial, industrial, and business uses, and all other uses not ordinarily considered as residential home, farm, or institutional use.  Not applicable to temporary, standby, supplementary, or resale service.

 

Character of Service

Natural gas service with a heating value as set forth in the rules and regulations of the Authority at a standard pressure of at least four (4) ounces per square inch

gauge at the outlet of the Authority's meter on the customer's premises.  Service under this schedule shall be firm under priorities as set forth in the rules and regulations.

 

Net Monthly Rate

The monthly billing shall be the sum of the service charge and the energy charge set forth below:

INSTITUTIONAL & PUBLIC BUILDINGS/AUTHORITIES GAS SERVICE

 

Availability

Available to non-profit institutions located in Navajo Country, where distribu¬tion facilities of adequate capacity and suitable pressure are adjacent to the premises to be served.

 

Applicability

Applicable to all natural gas service required for institutional purposes or uses not involving individual metered residences or apartments, commercial establish¬ments, or industrial operations.  Service is limited to non-profit organizations, such as government agencies, public school districts, churches, hospitals, and missions (other than residences).  Not applicable to temporary, standby, supplementary, or resale service.

 

Character of Service

Natural gas service with a heating value as set forth in the rules and regulations of the Authority at a standard pressure of at least four (4) ounces per square inch gauge at the outlet of the Authority's meter on the customer's premises.  Service under this schedule shall be firm under priorities as set forth in the rules and regulations.

 

Net Monthly Rate

The monthly billing shall be the sum of the service charge and the demand and energy charges set forth below:

LIFE SUPPORT/SENIOR CITIZENS

DISCOUNT PROGRAM

(RESIDENTIAL GAS SERVICE)

 

 

Availability

Available to residential customers located in Navajo Country where distribution facilities of adequate capacity and suitable pressure are adjacent to the premises to be served.

 

Applicability

Applicable to all natural gas service billed under Rate Schedule GR-31 where the customer has otherwise qualified for the discounted rate as specified at Rule 26.  The rate set forth herein shall supersede the discount at Rule 26. All provisions of the Residential Gas Rate Schedule GR-31 will apply except as modified herein.

 

Net Monthly Rate

The monthly billing shall be in the accordance with Rate Schedule GR-31 except as follows:

 

 Service Charge ...................................  $2.75

 

 Usage Charge

                  All Therms ............................  $0.4219 per Therm
